Bahrain Defense Force Officer Service Law
Article 1

The following words and phrases shall have the meanings indicated next to each of them:

a) The country:

Bahrain.

b) Commander in Chief:

His Highness the Emir of the country.

c) Bahrain Defense Force:

It includes the land, air and naval forces.

d) General Command:

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force.

e) Commander in Chief:

The officer who is appointed by Emiri order to carry out the tasks of commanding the Defense Force.

 

f) Deputy Commander-in-Chief:

The officer who is appointed by an Emiri order based on a proposal from the Commander-in-Chief to carry out the task of assisting the Commander-in-Chief in commanding the Defense Force and supervising the work of the General Command.

g) Chief of Staff:

The officer who is appointed by an Emiri order based on a proposal from the Commander in Chief to coordinate and supervise all the work of the Directorates of the General Command and exercise the powers granted to him by the Commander in Chief.

h) Director of Officers and Personnel Affairs:

The responsible officer who is concerned with all the affairs of officers and individuals.

Article 2

a) The officer is appointed by an Emiri order based on the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief and after consulting the Higher Officers Committee and in accordance with the provisions contained in this chapter. b) Only those who possess the following conditions shall be elected to be delegated to a university, college, military or civil institute in preparation for attaining the rank of officer: 1- He must be a Bahraini. 2- He must have completed seventeen years of age, and this is proven by his birth certificate. Or pay the age of the officer after the appointment decision is issued, unless a correction lawsuit is filed before the competent court ......

Article 3

The rank of officer is only granted to those who meet one of the following conditions: a) If he successfully graduated from the university, college, military or civil institute in which he was dispatched to study by the Defense Force Command, taking into account the provisions contained in Article (2). b) If he has a profession that the Defense Force needs his services. c) If he is one of the first agents who meets the qualifications and conditions ......
