Basic Regulations of Sports Clubs
Article 1

For the purposes of implementing the provisions of the Regulations, the following expressions and words shall have the meanings indicated in front of each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
The Chairman: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority or his authorized representative.
Authority: The General Sports Authority.
Agency: The Agency for Sports Affairs or its substitute.
Competent Department: The General Department of Sports Clubs in the Authority or its equivalent.
Office: The Authority’s office in the region, city or governorate.
Regulations: The basic regulations of sports clubs.
The Federation: A sports body with a legal personality that the state helps financially and morally in achieving its goals in accordance with the regulations of the International Olympic Committee, and the continental and international federations.
Club: A sports entity with an independent legal personality licensed by the authority and a member of one or more sports federations, and is subject to the authority’s supervision and follow-up in the administrative and financial aspects.
People with special needs: Those who suffer from a deficiency or defect in their physical or mental abilities that prevent them from practicing some of the activities carried out by a healthy individual.
Deaf: Those who suffer from a hearing impairment or deficiency that does not allow them to respond normally to educational, social and sporting purposes except by using certain means.
The General Assembly: An administrative organ of the club consisting of members: (the golden member and the regular member).
Board of Directors: An administrative body of the club consisting of a number of members elected by the general assembly.
Board: The club's board of directors.
Chief Executive Officer: who is responsible in the club for its day-to-day management and management of its affairs before the Board of Directors, and who works full time.
The General Committee for Sports Clubs Elections: A committee formed in the Authority that supervises and monitors the conduct of the elections of sports clubs, clubs for deaf people and people with special needs in accordance with the provisions of this regulation, and is directly linked to the Vice-President of the Authority for Sports Affairs.

Article 2

The club's board of directors is committed to the following:

1. To carry out his activities and works within the framework of the general policy of the State in accordance with the rules, regulations and decisions.

2. Organizing the official club activity, and participating in the programs and activities of sports federations and bodies.

Article 3

1. It is not permissible for the club to adopt a name or logo that causes confusion between itself and other clubs or any other entity.

2. The club's logo may not be used by any party without written permission from the Board of Directors.
